Haircut

Here are two outfits I wore yesterday. The first with shaggy hair was just a black two button suit with a white button up and black tie. The longer cuffs make me feel a little less preacher and little more fun. The second outfit is the clean cut new me. I felt it was time to lose the shag and get cleaned up a little. I love my tux and any chance I get to wear it I’m there. Last night I was able to attend the premiere of ‘William Kunstler-Disturbing the Universe’. It was an amazing movie. The tux is paired with a pink shirt (i know it looks white in the shot but it really is pink!) and a bow tie. Let me know what you think shaggy or short? xoxo

Winter Coat

I picked this up along my trip across the country. I am sooo excited about it. The coat is from the 1920’s. It is a Masonic coat. I am not religious but I love crosses. I know i am not in a suit. Sorry. I have been working on my new apartment. It is a loft apartment and needs a lot of work. So i have been wearing jeans a lot. This is an outfit i put together when i had to leave the confines of the new loft. The sculpture behind me was a wall that we ripped down and now looked like a Tim Burton sculpture piece from one of his movies. Eventually this will be my new studio to shoot and make fun stuff. The motorcycle boots are from Odd Twin Trading Company in Brooklyn. The jeans are diesel. The button up is Tommy Hilfiger with a grey V-neck that i picked up from H+M. I like this outfit a lot. almost enough to give up suits for a day or two. But not enough to give up forever. xoxo

1960’s Sharkskin Blue Suit

Hello hello everyone.

Okay so this phenomenal suit is from Wisconsin. Really. It is a beautiful 1960’s 3 Button Blue Sharkskin mod suit. I was dumbfounded when i came across it and it fit! The colors are a little flashy for this time of the year but hey lets party. The tie is YSL, not really sure where i picked it up from. I do know it was somewhere across the vast land between the coasts of North America. The red vintage cowboy style button up is from somewhere in Brooklyn. Over the next few weeks i will be showing clothes from the trip and again i will not have the places where i picked them up from. Sorry! I will try to be better, so when i do pick something up i will make sure to remember to write it down. xoxo

Summer is almost over…Hopefully

Okay so its been way too long and i have probably lost the couple people that i had looking at this blog. But i hope you come back because i have a lot of new suits. I just got back from a 3 week road trip across America. It was awesome. I needed more time everywhere. I scratched the surface of every place i went. Oh and there are like Nine zillion thrift stores out there with amazing stuff. Seriously. So i pick up my dry cleaning today and will update tomorrow, but i decided while i was away that i am not going to update an outfit of the day anymore. Just once a week or everyfew days or so. Not be on a schedule of having to do it or else feel bad. It started to get at me in the end. Then the ex came into town and lived with me for a month.  It was fun but didn’t have time for the blog in the beginning. Too busy being a tour guide. Then i did a photo shoot too in there for Overflow magazine. I was almost on the cover but didn’t make the cut. I still do have the article inside though! It was an amazing shoot. Jeff Brown shot the article. Taemur Moazzam was Art Director. And I styled it. Well hopefully in the next couple of weeks when its out you can pick up an issue to check out what i had to say and see the outfits i picked out. And the outfits aren’t all suits! I will put an image up today that didn’t make the cut for the article. I am in shorts. It’s gross. I hate shorts!! The premise of the article was to go to thrift stores and buy outfits that are under a certain amount of money and look good. Hopefully you’ll enjoy. XOXO and i promise i will update.

This 3 piece suit you have seen twice now, once with all black the other with a deep red button up.  This time i am using a print to go with the black on black pinstripe suit. i like the way it plays off the black and white print in the button up. Hope you love the day! xoxo

Here is a Zara 2 piece blue pinstripe with another button up from my mother (she totally amazed me with this box of goodies) and the tie is from Beacon’s closet. Reagan and others courtesy the street. Enjoy the rain i am going to maybe go skate but probably end up in the house until tonight. xoxo
